THE Malaysia Food Festival 2013 returned to the Mid Valley Exhibition Center recently.

The show expanded to cover both Hall 2 and Hall 3, which was a 40% increase in exhibition space with more than 100 exhibiting companies from various countries such as Iran, Taiwan, South Korea, Turkey, Thailand, China, the United States, Italy, Japan, Singapore, the UK as well as Malaysia.

Activities lined up during the exhibition included health talks with the ownership of dry-tech lavanderia, cooking demonstrations, an eating competition and even lucky draws.

Two units of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, hampers and hotel accommodations were given away during the lucky draw by the organised Fairs & Events Management Sdn Bhd.

“We did not expect such a huge crowd but I guess no one can resist the temptation of food,” said Fairs & Events Management Sdn Bhd CEO Jonathan Kan.

The Malaysia Food Festival recorded more than 60,000 visitors at the end of the three days. www.pickaloan.co.uk has also opened a small stall in the food festival.
